This year, in place of birthday gifts, I’d love for you to consider making a donation to motionball for Special Olympics – an incredible charity that supports Special Olympics athletes across Canada.
motionball brings together people with and without Down syndrome for the Marathon of Sport in dozens of cities across Canada. While there’s always some healthy competition (our team won this year!), the real focus is on connection, community, and giving back.
Your support makes a real difference in the lives of athletes with intellectual disabilities, who often face barriers to participating in sports and wellness programs. Every donation has a direct impact, allowing these athletes to pursue their passions, feel included, and achieve their personal best. As well, motionball’s #NoGoodWay anti-bullying campaign fosters respectful and positive language in everyday conversation, helping create a better environment for everyone.
