On March 20th, I will be playing in the Business vs. Art-Sci Rivalry game at StFX, and I would love your support as I hit the ice for an incredible cause! I’m proudly representing the Art-Sci team as we fundraise for motionball for Special Olympics, an organization that empowers athletes with intellectual disabilities by providing them with a social network, a sense of belonging, and the resources to stay active through sport. While I’ll be competing hard against the Business team—who are raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society—my personal goal is to help ensure Special Olympics athletes in our community and across the country have the stability and support they need to thrive. Any donation you can make toward my fundraising efforts would mean the world to me and will go directly toward keeping these athletes connected and competing at their highest levels. 70% of funds raised go to Provincial Chapters, 25% to the Special Olympics Canada Foundation for long-term stability, and 5% to the #NoGoodWay Campaign to eliminate the R-word.
