Dear Family and Friends,

On March 18th, I am playing in Pucks for Purpose, a charity rivalry hockey game that brings together students from across campus at St. FX to support and fundraise for motionball for Special Olympics!

This day will bring together students to compete in a Business vs. Art-Sci Rivalry game all for a good cause. The dollars raised at this event will raise important funds for motionball to support Special Olympics athletes in our community, in the province, and across the country. As a player on the Art-Sci Team, I am fundraising for motionball while the players on the Business team are fundraising for the Canadian Cancer Society.

motionball supports Special Olympics athletes to compete in sport which allows members of our community with intellectual disabilities to not only stay fit and healthy, but provides a social network, sense of belonging, and sense of stability.

By making a donation to motionball, you're helping to ensure that Special Olympics athletes have the resources they need to stay connected and active in their communities and compete at their highest levels.

Thank you very much for your support, Alison. Together, we can make Pucks for Purpose more than just a game!
