This year, on ​​May 23rd, I will be taking the field alongside local Special Olympics athletes for a full day of sports, fun and inclusivity - the motionball Marathon Of Sport!

This day not only brings awareness to the Special Olympics movement, but allows people with and without intellectual disabilities to interact, build lifelong friendships, and ultimately create more inclusive communities.

While a $20,000 fundraising target is one of our Team goals, Marathon of Sport is about so much more! Through events like this, motionball raises awareness and funds for the Special Olympics movement and allows people with and without intellectual disabilities to connect, build new friendships, celebrate differences and ultimately create more inclusive communities across Canada.
