$5,850 Raised Goal: $5,000
117%

We are so proud to be sharing that PCL 1 will be participating at the 2026 motionball Marathon of Sport . On September 20th, our Team will be taking the field, alongside local Special Olympics athletes for a full day of sports, fun and inclusivity!

Today, we are inviting you to become a part of this amazing event by helping us reach our Team fundraising goal of $5,000. A tax receiptable donation of $20 will make a direct, local impact on Special Olympics athletes, like Noah.

Noah has been involved in Special Olympics since he was 17 and is a dedicated multi-sport athlete, competing in basketball, bowling, curling, floor hockey, and soccer. A proud participant of Marathon of Sport Oakville since its first event, Noah brings great energy, teamwork, and enthusiasm to every event. This year, we’re excited to have Noah take on the role of Honorary Athlete. Hear from Noah about what being part of motionball means to him:

“Being part of Special Olympics and Motionball Marathon of Sport has helped me stay active, confident, and connected to an amazing community, and I’m proud to continue doing the sports I love!”

While a $5,000 fundraising target is one of our Team goals, Marathon of Sport is about so much more! Through events like this, motionball raises awareness and funds for the Special Olympics movement and allows people with and without intellectual disabilities to connect, build new friendships, celebrate differences and ultimately create more inclusive communities across Canada.

With your help, we can reach our fundraising goal and make a difference in creating a more inclusive Canada! Please consider supporting our Team by making a donation directly to our fundraising page.

Every donation makes a difference.
