We’re proud to share that Spartans will be participating in the 2026 motionball Marathon of Sport, presented by Methanex!

On September 26, our team will take the field alongside local Special Olympics athletes for a full day of sports, fun, and inclusion.

We’re inviting you to join us and help Spartans reach our fundraising goal of $2,500. Every donation directly supports Special Olympics athletes in our local community.

Cory is a multi-sport athlete who participates in Special Olympics BC Alpine Skiing, Basketball, and Softball. This year, Cory is also serving as motionball Vancouver’s Honorary Athlete Ambassador. His favourite part of Marathon of Sport is competing with his teammates, having fun, and helping raise funds for Special Olympics.

Marathon of Sport is about much more than fundraising. It brings people with and without intellectual disabilities together through sport, creates new friendships, celebrates differences, and helps build more inclusive communities across Canada.

HOW CAN YOUR DOLLARS HELP?

motionball for Special Olympics is a national not-for-profit organization raising funds for Special Olympics programs across Canada.
motionball has proudly donated over $22,000,000 since 2002.

70% of funds raised go to Provincial Chapters, 25% to the Special Olympics Canada Foundation for long-term stability, and 5% to the #NoGoodWay Campaign to eliminate the R-word.
