We are so proud to be sharing that Claro Supernovas will be participating in the 2024 Motionball Marathon of Sport presented by Kelowna Toyota. On September 21, our team will be taking the field alongside local Special Olympics athletes for a full day of sports, fun, and inclusivity! At Claro Kelowna Senior, we have the amazing opportunity every day to work with students who are neurodiverse! Some of us also have kids, family members, and friends who are neurodivergent. And some of us are neurodivergent ourselves. We are so grateful for the opportunity to support the Special Olympics who, in turn, support our students! Today, we are inviting you to become a part of this amazing day by helping us reach our team fundraising goal of $1,600. Your donation will make a direct, local impact on Special Olympics athletes. All donations over $20 are eligible for an official tax receipt. While a $1,600 fundraising target is one of our team goals, the Marathon of Sport is about so much more! Through events like this, Motionball raises awareness and funds for the Special Olympics movement and allows people with and without intellectual disabilities to connect, build new friendships, celebrate differences, and ultimately create more inclusive communities across Canada.
