We are so proud to share that we have registered Team Team Certarus for the 2026 motionball Marathon of Sport Calgary. This year, on June 20th, we will be taking the field, alongside local Special Olympics athletes for a full day of sports, fun and inclusivity!
Today, we are inviting you to become a part of this amazing day by helping us reach our Team fundraising goal of $10,000. A tax receiptable donation of $20 will make a direct, local impact on Special Olympics athletes, like Chelsey and Jordan.
Meet Chelsey and Jordan:
Chelsey and Jordan are incredible Special Olympics athletes who bring passion, dedication, and energy to every event they’re part of. Chelsey is an accomplished Track and Field athlete who loves connecting with others at Marathon of Sport events and is especially excited to hit the basketball court. She is also looking ahead to representing Team Alberta at the 2026 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games. Jordan, a dedicated swimmer of over 25 years, has proudly represented Team Canada on the international stage, including the Special Olympics World Games, bringing home multiple medals. Beyond her athletic achievements, Jordan enjoys staying active, spending time with friends, and inspiring others with her motto: never give up. Together, Chelsey and Jordan embody the spirit of Special Olympics and can’t wait to meet everyone at this year’s event!While a $10,00 fundraising target is one of our Team goals, Marathon of Sport is about so much more! Through events like this, motionball raises awareness and funds for the Special Olympics movement and allows people with and without intellectual disabilities to connect, build new friendships, celebrate differences and ultimately create more inclusive communities across Canada.

motionball has proudly donated over $22,000,000 since 2002.
70% of funds raised go to Provincial Chapters, 25% to the Special Olympics Canada Foundation for long-term stability, and 5% to the #NoGoodWay Campaign to eliminate the R-word.
