My favourite event of the year is Marathon of Sport Toronto - taking place on Saturday June 8th at York University.
Having helped launch this event over 22 years ago I am excited to once again be participating as the Team Captain for Etherington Generations.
This event will have 65 teams participating in an all day round robin of 8 different sports. Each team will be assigned 1 to 2 Special Olympics athletes (the celebrities for the day) with an event focus of integration and inclusion.
The event net fundraising goal is $450,000 and personally my hope is to raise over $75,000.

motionball HISTORY:
We started motionball back in 2002 to raise funds and awareness for the Special Olympics Canada Foundation and just as importantly to introduce the next generation of Canadian young professionals and University students to the movement through integrated social and sporting events. Today we are running over 50 annual events and have donated just over $19,000,000.
