Saturday, Sept. 27th will find me joining the gang from Southeast Oakville Veterinary Hospital along with local Special Olympics athletes for this year’s Motionball Marathon of Sport – a sporting event designed to raise awareness and funds for Canada’s Special Olympics. (See www.motionball.com)
This event celebrates diversity, friendship, and inclusion in communities across our great country wherever you sit on the intellectual spectrum. It’s exactly the kind of thing the world needs these days.
It would be awfully sporting of you to donate to the cause. Any amount you can part with will help, but keep in mind that $20 will get you an official tax receipt if that inspires you to up the ante.
So grateful for your support!
Iz
P.S. I might be getting a little old for these shenanigans, and I debated cheering from the sidelines versus taking to the field. But the field it is. That’s gotta be worth a little something? ;-)
