I am so proud to be sharing that I have joined The Mighty Puffins for the 2026 motionball Marathon of Sport . This year, on ​​October 24th, my Team and I will be taking the field, alongside local Special Olympics athletes for a full day of sports, fun and inclusivity!

Today, I am inviting you to become a part of this amazing day by helping us reach our Team fundraising goal of $2,500. A tax receiptable donation of $20 will make a direct, local impact on Special Olympics athletes, like Ava.

Ava has been involved with Special Olympics for 15 years. She competes in 5- Pin Bowling, Bocce, Rhythmic Gymnastics, and Swimming, earning numerous medals, including two gold and two silvers in swimming at the 2025 Provincial Games. Through Special Olympics, Ava explores new opportunities and benefits from a strong peer network.

While a $2,500 fundraising target is one of our Team goals, Marathon of Sport is about so much more! Through events like this, motionball raises awareness and funds for the Special Olympics movement and allows people with and without intellectual disabilities to connect, build new friendships, celebrate differences and ultimately create more inclusive communities across Canada.
