Hi everyone,
On March 8th, I’ll be participating in the motionball Marathon of Sport, an all-day fundraiser where my team and I get to play different sports alongside Special Olympics athletes from our community. It’s an action-packed day that brings athletes of all abilities together on the same playing field.
For me, this event is about much more than just sports. It’s about creating opportunities for people with and without intellectual disabilities to connect, compete, and build real friendships. Events like this help break down barriers and create more inclusive communities.
My team has a $750 fundraising goal, and any support would mean a lot. Donations go directly toward supporting Special Olympics athletes and helping provide opportunities for them to train, compete, and stay involved in sport.
