Hi, my name is Teagan, and I’m 14 years old.

I love sports. I love the excitement of playing, being part of a team, and cheering each other on. But the truth is, I don’t get many chances to play.

I live with cerebral palsy, I’ve had a kidney transplant, I have hearing loss, and I am also autistic. These are all parts of who I am, but they don’t stop me from wanting to be active, compete, and be part of a team.

What really makes things difficult isn’t my disabilities — it’s the lack of accessible sports programs nearby for athletes like me.

That’s why Special Olympics motionball means so much to me.

Special Olympics creates opportunities for athletes with disabilities to play sports, build confidence, make friends, and feel like they truly belong. For many of us, these programs are the only place where we can fully participate and be part of a team.

On March 20th, I am participating in an all-day fundraiser called motionball Marathon of Sport. This is an action-packed day where my team and I will play sports alongside Special Olympics athletes from our community. This day helps to bring athletes of all abilities together on the playing field.

Every athlete deserves a chance to play.

Please consider sponsoring me and helping make sports more accessible.

All donations over $20 are eligible for an official tax receipt.

Thank you for believing in athletes like me.
