I am so proud to be sharing that I have joined Team Blueberries for the 2026 motionball Marathon of Sport presented by Scarborough Toyota. This year, on May 23rd, my Team and I will be taking the field, alongside local Special Olympics athletes for a full day of sports, fun and inclusivity!

This day not only brings awareness to the Special Olympics movement, but allows people with and without intellectual disabilities to interact, build lifelong friendships, and ultimately create more inclusive communities. The highlight of this event each year is having the opportunity to compete alongside local Special Olympics athletes.

While a $3,500 fundraising target is one of our Team goals, Marathon of Sport is about so much more! Through events like this, motionball raises awareness and funds for the Special Olympics movement and allows people with and without intellectual disabilities to connect, build new friendships, celebrate differences and ultimately create more inclusive communities across Canada.

motionball has proudly donated over $22,000,000 since 2002.

70% of funds raised go to Provincial Chapters, 25% to the Special Olympics Canada Foundation for long-term stability, and 5% to the #NoGoodWay Campaign to eliminate the R-word.
