I’m so excited that my favourite day of the year is coming up soon - motionball Hamilton Marathon of Sport is on June 20th celebrating our 11th year! After I attended my first motionball event in Toronto 11 years ago, I asked my brother and sister “when can we do this in Hamilton with all my friends?” The next year they started motionball Hamilton and have raised over $500K net in support of Special Olympics since we started!

This year is especially exciting because I qualified to compete at my very first ever Special Olympics Canada Summer Games this August in Medicine Hat Alberta! I’ll be competing in 3 swimming events and have been training and working hard getting ready to compete for Team Ontario.

Through motionball, I’ve met some of my best friends like Matthew, Nicole and Taylor and I always look forward to spending the day together playing sports, cheering everyone on and dancing to all our favourite songs!

Today, I’m inviting you to support me by helping me reach my fundraising goal of $3,500. Every donation helps create opportunities for Special Olympics athletes like me to train, compete, make new friendships and be part of an amazing community.
