I’m excited to share that I’ve joined Team Scarborough Toyota 2 for the 2026 motionball Marathon of Sport in support of Special Olympics!

On May 23rd, we’ll be spending the day playing sports alongside local athletes, raising funds, building connections, and celebrating inclusion. What I love most about motionball is that it’s about so much more than fundraising - it creates opportunities for people with and without intellectual disabilities to come together, form genuine friendships, and build more inclusive communities.

As someone who has spent much of my career working in youth wellbeing and community impact, this mission really resonates with me. Sport has such a unique ability to bring people together, break down barriers, and create belonging.

This event helps support athletes like Nicole, who shared:

“Being part of motionball makes me happy because I get to play sports with my friends, meet new people, and help raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics. The support from motionball gives me the chance to train, compete, and be the best I can be.”

I joined a little last minute, but I’m proud to be part of it and would be incredibly grateful for any support. Every donation helps create more opportunities for Special Olympics athletes across Canada to train, compete, connect, and thrive.
