I am so proud to share that I have taken on the volunteer Event Director role for the inaugural motionball Marathon of Sport Collingwood on October 3rd at Our Lady of the Bay High School and that Carter Private Client Group will be supporting as the Presenting Sponsor.

At Marathon of Sport, my Team and I will be taking the field, alongside local Special Olympics athletes for a full day of sports, fun and inclusion - all while raising funds and awareness for Special Olympics Collingwood and the Special Olympics Canada Foundation.

Sport has shaped who I am and has introduced me to many of my closest friends, mentors, and opportunities. Supporting motionball and bringing Marathon of Sport to Collingwood, is my way of helping ensure people with and without intellectual disabilities can connect, build new friendships, celebrate differences and ultimately create more inclusive communities across Canada while enjoying a lifetime of sport.

Today, we are inviting you to become a part of this amazing event by making a donation and helping us reach our Team fundraising goal of $10,000. Every donation makes a difference and your support will have a direct impact on Special Olympics athletes in the Collingwood Community and across Ontario.
