It's a little later than usual this year, but the 2026 motionball Marathon of Sport is finally almost upon us. This year (like every year), on ​​September 26th, my team and I will be taking to the field alongside local Special Olympics athletes for a full day of sports, fun and inclusivity!

I invite you to become a part of this amazing day by helping us raise some money for an excellent cause. Your donation will make a direct, local impact on Special Olympics athletes like Cory.

Cory is a multi-sport athlete participating in SOBC Alpine Skiing, Basketball, Softball. This year, Cory has taken on the role of motionball Vancouver's Honorary Athlete Ambassador. Cory's favourite part about motionball's Marathon of Sport is having fun competing in the various sports with my teammates and helping to raise funds for Special Olympics!

While raising money is an important part of this event, Marathon of Sport is about so much more! Through events like this, motionball also raises awareness and funds for the Special Olympics movement and allows people with and without intellectual disabilities to connect, build new friendships, celebrate differences and ultimately create more inclusive communities across Canada.
