I am so proud to share that I have joined Arc'teryx for the 2026 motionball Marathon of Sport presented by Methanex. On September 26, my team and I will be taking the field alongside local Special Olympics athletes for a full day of sports, fun, and inclusivity.
My decision to participate this year is deeply inspired by my oldest brother, Bryce. Growing up, he taught me the value of sport, community, and supporting others. Through this event, I hope to share that same stoke with athletes of all abilities, build meaningful connections, and help raise awareness for the incredible impact Special Olympics has in our communities.
Today, I am inviting you to become part of this amazing day by helping us reach our team fundraising goal of $2,500. A tax-receiptable donation of $20 will make a direct, local impact on Special Olympics athletes like Cory.
Cory is a multi-sport athlete participating in SOBC Alpine Skiing, Basketball, and Softball. This year, Cory has taken on the role of motionball Vancouver's Honorary Athlete Ambassador. Cory's favourite part about motionball's Marathon of Sport is competing in a variety of sports with teammates, building friendships, and helping raise funds for Special Olympics.
While our $2,500 fundraising target is an important goal, Marathon of Sport is about so much more than the dollars raised. Through events like this, motionball supports the Special Olympics movement by raising awareness, fostering inclusion, and creating opportunities for people with and without intellectual disabilities to come together, celebrate differences, and build lasting friendships.
With your help, we can reach our fundraising goal and make a meaningful impact while helping create a more inclusive Canada. Please consider supporting our team by making a donation directly to our fundraising page.
Every donation makes a difference, and every conversation helps spread awareness.
