I am so proud to be sharing that I have joined Western HRS for the 2026 motionball Marathon of Sport . This year, on ​​November 7th, my Team and I will be taking the field, alongside local Special Olympics athletes for a full day of sports, fun and inclusivity!

Today, I am inviting you to become a part of this amazing event by helping us reach our Team fundraising goal of $1,000. A tax receiptable donation of $20 will make a direct, local impact on Special Olympics athletes, like Beth.

Beth became involved with motionball Hamilton in 2019, taking part in her very first Marathon of Sport — and she was hooked! Ever since, she’s been a shining light at every event, known for her energy, positivity, and unwavering team spirit. Beyond athletics, Beth is admired for her kindness, commitment, and ability to lift others up. Whether in competition or with friends and family, she continues to inspire everyone around her.

While a $1,000 fundraising target is one of our Team goals, Marathon of Sport is about so much more! Through events like this, motionball raises awareness and funds for the Special Olympics movement and allows people with and without intellectual disabilities to connect, build new friendships, celebrate differences and ultimately create more inclusive communities across Canada.
