Support Team Test

On July 22nd, we are participating in the 2nd annual Daniel Nestor Pickleball Social where we will team up with Toronto Celebrities and local Special Olympics athletes for an evening of Pickleball for a purpose. With the help of our Team, we will also raise funds and awareness for two important causes - motionball for Special Olympics and The Daniel Nestor Foundation.

This evening not only brings awareness to both organizations, but allows people with and without intellectual disabilities to interact, build lifelong friendships, and ultimately create more inclusive communities through the inclusive power of sport. The highlight of this event will be having the opportunity to compete alongside local Special Olympics athletes.

For both motionball and The Daniel Nestor Foundation, the power of sport is an incredible opportunity for all Canadians and The Daniel Nestor Pickleball Social is an opportunity for us to make an immediate impact on athletes like motionball’s Honorary Athlete of the Year, Nicole.

Nicole has been part of motionball for 11 years, participating in Marathon of Sport events across many cities and university campuses. Through motionball, she stays active, builds friendships, and helps raise awareness and funding for Special Olympics athletes. Hear from Nicole about what being part of motionball means to her:
