2026 has been declared Kelowna's Year of Sport, recognizing an incredible year of major sporting events in our community, including the BC Summer Games, Skate Canada International, the Memorial Cup and Touchdown Kelowna.

To celebrate the spirit of sport, teamwork and community, I've joined the Year of Sport All-Stars for the 2026 motionball Marathon of Sport in support of Special Olympics.
On September 19, our team will spend the day competing alongside local Special Olympics athletes while raising funds and awareness to support programs that help athletes with intellectual disabilities stay active, build confidence and form lasting friendships.

I'm proud to support an organization that creates opportunities through sport and promotes inclusion in our communities. Our team's fundraising goal is $1,600, and any contribution, big or small, will help make a difference.
