Support Team Year of Sport All-Stars

2026 is the Year of Sport in Kelowna! Throughout the year, our community is hosting major sporting events and championships, including the BC Summer Games, Skate Canada International, the Memorial Cup and Touchdown Kelowna, showcasing the power of sport to bring people together.

Inspired by this celebration, the Year of Sport All-Stars are proud to be participating in the 2026 motionball Marathon of Sport in support of Special Olympics athletes.

On September 19, we'll join local Special Olympics athletes for a day of sports, teamwork and inclusion while raising funds and awareness for programs that help athletes with intellectual disabilities thrive both on and off the field.

Our goal is to raise $1,600, and we're inviting our colleagues, friends and community to help us get there. Every donation helps provide opportunities for athletes to participate in sport, build confidence, develop friendships and experience the sense of belonging that comes from being part of a team.

As Kelowna celebrates sport at every level, from national championships to local recreation programs, we believe it's equally important to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate, connect and succeed through sport.
