I’m proud to share that I’ve joined PCL 1 for the 2026 motionball Marathon of Sport. On September 20th, my team and I will be taking the field alongside local Special Olympics athletes for a full day of sports, fun, and inclusivity.
Today, I’m reaching out to ask for your support as we work toward our team fundraising goal of $5,000. A tax-receiptable donation of $20 can make a direct, local impact on Special Olympics athletes like Noah.
Noah has been involved in Special Olympics since he was 17 and is a dedicated multi-sport athlete, competing in basketball, bowling, curling, floor hockey, and soccer. A proud participant of Marathon of Sport Oakville since its first event, Noah brings incredible energy, teamwork, and enthusiasm to everything he does. This year, we’re excited to have Noah serve as our Honorary Athlete.
"Being part of Special Olympics and motionball Marathon of Sport has helped me stay active, confident, and connected to an amazing community, and I’m proud to continue doing the sports I love!"
While raising $5,000 is one of our goals, Marathon of Sport is about much more than fundraising. Events like this help raise awareness and support for the Special Olympics movement while creating opportunities for people with and without intellectual disabilities to connect, build friendships, celebrate differences, and foster more inclusive communities across Canada.
To make things a little more interesting, I've committed to running 100 metres for every $10 donated. Whether it's $10, $20, or more, every contribution helps support Special Olympics athletes and gets me a few more laps on the track.
If you're able, please consider supporting our team by making a donation through my fundraising page. Any contribution is greatly appreciated and will help make a meaningful difference.
