Hi everyone!

My name is Mary Ann, and I’m so excited to be part of Mini Motionball again this year as a Co-Event Director. This event is so dear to me, and I’m incredibly grateful to be involved.

Mini Motionball is a fun and inclusive day of sport and activities for children with intellectual disabilities. It gives kids the opportunity to stay active, build confidence, and connect with others in a supportive and welcoming environment. It’s truly such a special day for the athletes, their families, volunteers, and our committee!

This event is part of Motionball Marathon of Sport, where teams come together to participate alongside Special Olympics athletes while promoting inclusion and community through sport.

All funds raised go toward Special Olympics Canada, helping provide year-round programs and opportunities for athletes of all ages.

Last year, our community raised an amazing $85,000, and I’m so excited to see what we can accomplish together this year!

motionball has proudly donated over $22,000,000 since 2002.

70% of funds raised go to Provincial Chapters, 25% to the Special Olympics Canada Foundation for long-term stability, and 5% to the #NoGoodWay Campaign to eliminate the R-word.
